Through the Psalms: From generation to generation

The psalmist pleads his case of affliction, to the Lord. Whatever overwhelms us becomes our momentary focus, but having a personal relationship with the Lord and His word allows a redirection in our thinking. God is sovereign over all. Our work must be preparation for an eternal future. We must teach the generations to come about the goodness and faithfulness of an Almighty God. Our circumstance is temporary, wherever it leads, but our eternal destiny is permanent.
